Lake Shore Sail Club has maintained a Coast Guard approved race course located NE of Gaukler Point in Lake St. Clair for over forty years.  The course consists of seven white pylons arranged in a 2.60 nm diameter hexagon. Our expert race committee chooses from a variety of pre-established courses based on wind direction and speed.

Our popular Wednesday night Spring and Summer Sunset Series races are open to all area sailors. These two competitive six-race series regularly attract a large number of the area's avid racing skippers. Weekly results are announced after each race at one of our sponsor establishments. Series awards are presented at a FREE pizza and beer party after the Summer Series.
